ASD students to send experiment to International Space Station
NASHUA - Following a rigorous selection process, three students from the Academy for Science and Design were recently chosen from a pool of 10 New England teams to send their science experiment to the International Space Station in 2025. "When you've already gotten your experiment onto the International Space Station as a ninth-grader, it's thrilling to imagine what these students will achieve during their remaining years at ASD," said academy Director Jennifer Cava. "Perhaps one day, one of them will be up there conducting experiments." Seth Williams, Ares Provence and Nathaniel Burns, members of Team Hydra, worked with three other New England students to create an experiment that will study precipitation effects in microgravity.
