Chourasia honored by consul general of India, New York
NASHUA - State Rep. Manoj Chourasia of Nashua was recently honored by Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, consul general of India, New York, for his work in the Indian-American community and for being elected in November 2024 to serve Hillsborough District 11. Chourasia, a democrat, received the commendation on Jan. 26, which marked the 76th anniversary of Republic Day of India. A member of the Commerce and Consumer Affairs Committee, Chourasia is focused on alleviating the increased cost of living and bringing “new businesses and increased opportunities to New Hampshire.” According to the New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute, the annual average cost of living for a family of four in Hillsborough County was $119,357 as of January 2024.
