In May, Salem-based Fabrizia Spirits, the New Hampshire Liquor Commission as well as Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits teamed up on the “When Life Hands You Lemons” fundraising initiative to raise $15,000 to support Pink Revolution of New Hampshire to benefit cancer patients in need of better treatment, chemotherapy and financial support. SALEM – During the past 13 years, Salem-based Fabrizia Spirits has donated a portion of profits from its NH Liquor & Wine Outlet sales to worthy New Hampshire charities. This year, the “When Life Hands You Lemons” program exceeded the $144,000 donation milestone when Fabrizia granted Pink Revolution of New Hampshire $15,000 to benefit cancer patients in need of better treatment, chemo care packages and financial support.
In 2023 alone, Pink Revolution provided 1,500 chemo care packages and other patient care products to 32 locations that aid cancer patients in New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine and Massachusetts. Additionally, in 2022, the organization distributed $100,000 in grocery and gas cards to individuals and families facing financial constraints, helping them buy necessary resources.
“The When Life Hands You Lemons initiative continues to be a meaningful and unique way for us to partner with one of our many producers and brokers while giving back to the community,” said Joseph Mollica, chairman of the New Hampshire Liquor Commission. “We applaud Fabrizia and Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits on 13 years of success and look forward to supporting future worthy causes.”
Fabrizia Spirits donated a portion of profits from the sale of all of its products during the month of May, with promotional support from the New Hampshire Liquor Commission and Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits.
“Fabrizia Spirits recognizes the importance of contributing to our local communities and values the opportunity to partner with NHLC, an organization that shares this mission,” said Philip Mastroianni, co-owner and co-founder of Fabrizia Spirits. “We are excited to contribute to the amazing work that Pink Revolution of New Hampshire does to positively impact people affected by cancer. We could not have achieved this donation milestone without our dedicated customers and partners.”
In addition to Pink Revolution of New Hampshire, NHLC has worked with suppliers and brokers over the past eight years to raise more than $3.7 million for nonprofit organizations making an impact in New Hampshire and beyond. This is including Best Buddies New Hampshire, Crotched Mountain Foundation, New Hampshire Food Bank, Easterseals New Hampshire, The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire, The Friends of the Manchester Animal Shelter, Back in The Saddle Equine Therapy Center, Homes for Our Troops, Operation Care for Troops, Toys for Tots, Granite United Way, Community Foundation Sonoma County, Napa Valley Community Foundation as well as the New Hampshire Lodging and Restaurant Association.
“We are excited to be the recipients of the 2023 When Life Hands You Lemons Campaign,” said Lauren Caulfield, president of Pink Revolution of New Hampshire. “This donation will be extremely impactful in supporting the many individuals across New England affected by cancer.”
