Hudson man charged with domestic disturbance
NASHUA – Chase Marable, 20, of Hudson, was recently taken into custody in connection with a domestic disturbance at Extended Stay America.
According to Nashua Police, officers responded to 2000 Southwood Dr. for a report of a domestic assault on Aug. 15.
The victim, a 19-year-old female, whose identity has not been released, told officers that Marable was a former romantic partner who was continuing to contact her in violation of a court order.
According to police, the incident began with a verbal argument that escalated with Marable allegedly “pulling her hair and pushing her into a wall.” The victim also told police that Marable threatened her with a steak knife and ripped off her necklace before fleeing the scene.
Officers found Marable later that day at Nashua District Court and placed him under arrest.
He was held on preventative detention and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Aug. 16.
Marable has been charged with domestic violence-criminal threatening, two counts of domestic violence-simple assault, six counts of stalking-domestic violence and criminal mischief.
Under state law, if convicted, Marable could face up to 10 years in prison, up to five years probation and up to $10,000 in fines.
