Ninth annual United We Sleep set for Sept. 27
NASHUA – The United Way of Greater Nashua recently announced that this year’s United We Sleep event will be held from 5 p.m. on Sept. 27 to 8 a.m. on Sept. 28 at Nashua Community College, 505 Amherst St.
This event aims to raise awareness and funds to combat homelessness and support vital community services.
United We Sleep is more than just an event; it’s an urgent call to action. New Hampshire communities are facing tough times and the funds raised through this event are desperately needed to support our safety net services. Participants will spend the night outside, experiencing the challenges of being homeless.
“Together, we can make a difference and work towards a community where everyone has a safe place to call home,” said Michael Apfelberg, president of the United Way of Greater Nashua. “Thank you for your commitment to this important cause.”

The funds raised through United We Sleep support $400,000 in annual grants to local safety net organizations, emergency funds for the homeless (with $25,000 allocated so far this year) and United Way programs that combat food insecurity.
