Community Investments to host award winning journalist Jane Pauley on Oct. 17
NASHUA — Following the successful inaugural Nashua Community Lecture Series, Community Investments recently announced that award winning journalist Jane Pauley is coming to the Nashua Center for the Arts on Oct. 17 at 7:30 p.m.
One of America’s most respected journalists, Pauley has blazed new trails throughout a broadcast career spanning more than five decades. Pauley has inspired audiences with her intelligence and integrity, serving as a role model for generations of women. In addition to her current role as host of CBS Sunday Morning, she is known as a powerful advocate for mental health awareness, using her personal story to encourage and motivate others.
“Jane Pauley is an inspiration for young journalists everywhere and has been for decades. Her experience, her talent and her insight is a true gift to the audience and to our lecture series,” said James Rafferty, founder of Community Investments. “This is why we are bringing this series to our hometown of Nashua. Our community has inspired us to help inspire others, with speakers such as Ms. Pauley.”
The series will continue on Nov. 3 with former U.S. Ambassador John Sullivan.
“We are dedicated to giving back to our community of Nashua and the greater region,” said Rafferty. “We did so with our charity casino business over the last 17 years and will continue that great tradition as we develop Community Investments.”
Tickets for the events may be purchased online at nashuacenterforthearts.com.
