City man charged with criminal threatening in Temple Street incident
NASHUA – Jack Rogers, 64, of Nashua, was arrested on Sept. 19 in connection with a criminal threatening incident involving a knife.
According to the Nashua Police Department, officers responded to 23 Temple St. at 2:47 p.m. The male victim, whose identity has not been released, told police that Rogers confronted him about an unpaid debt and pointed a knife at him in a threatening manner.
Officers were also told that Rogers used the knife to “stab the door of the victim’s apartment several times.”
The victim was not injured and Rogers was taken into custody at the scene.
Detectives also obtained a warrant to search Rogers’ apartment where they seized “several items.”
Rogers has been charged with criminal threatening with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief.
Under state law, if convicted, Rogers could face up to eight years in prison, up to five years probation and up to $6,000 in fines.
Rogers was held on preventative detention and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Sept. 20.
