Nashua woman facing domestic violence charges
NASHUA – Kaitlynn Dobry, 25, of Nashua, was taken into custody on Oct. 14 in connection with a domestic disturbance.
According to the Nashua Police Department, officers responded to the incident at approximately 7:59 a.m. The exact location of the disturbance has not been released.
The 28-year-old male victim, whose identity was not released, allegedly told police that he was awakened by Dobry, who threatened him with a kitchen knife. He said a verbal argument followed which escalated into a physical altercation. Police later learned that the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The knife was also recovered at the scene.
Dobry was arrested at the scene and has been charged with two counts of Domestic Violence–Criminal Threatening and two counts of Domestic Violence–Simple Assault.
Under state law, if convicted, Dobry could face up to 16 years in prison, 10 years of probation and $10,000 in fines.
Dobry was held on preventative detention and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Oct. 15.
