Nashua man charged with arson, criminal mischief

NASHUA – Brandon Marsocci, 33, of Nashua, was taken into custody on Nov. 17 in connection with an incident allegedly involving arson and criminal mischief at the Nashua Foundries.
According to the Nashua Police Department, officers responded to 5 Foundry St. at 11:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, witnesses told police that they saw two males running out of the building and that a third individual was still inside.
Marsocci was found in the building by police a short time later.
According to police, a vending machine was damaged with burn and pry marks. The machine’s money container was also damaged and money was found on the floor.
Marsocci was arrested at the scene. He was charged with acting as an accomplice to arson – loss over $1,000, acting as an accomplice to criminal mischief – loss over $1,500, criminal trespass and theft by unauthorized taking.
Marsocci was held on a $140 cash bail and was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Nov. 18.
Under state law, if convicted, Marsocci could face up to 23 years in prison, up to 12 years of probation and up to $11,200 in fines.
