Local residents charged in drug trafficking conspiracy

CONCORD – Timothy Boston II, 38, of Nashua and Riley Paletta, 26, of Hudson, are two of 13 suspects in a cross-border drug trafficking conspiracy.

Boston is being held in federal custody and Paletta is out on pretrial supervision.

According to court documents, in October 2023, federal law enforcement officers were made aware of a drug distributor operating in Lowell, Mass. and Lawrence, Mass. The distributor was allegedly serving markets in New Hampshire and Maine. The distributor also “conducted high-volume narcotics deals via cell phone text messages and a social media messaging app.”

For four months, starting on Nov. 9, 2023, undercover officers reportedly conducted eight fentanyl purchases, many of which were arranged using the distributor’s social media accounts.

During the investigation, officers searched the premises used by the distributor and ultimately seized two-and-a-half kilograms of fentanyl, 250 grams of methamphetamine and 28 grams of cocaine.

During another search, officers reportedly confiscated 20 kilograms of fentanyl, one kilogram of methamphetamine and 200 grams of cocaine.

Other suspects in the case include Pedro Miguel Ravelo Guzman, 31, of Lowell, Mass., Amanda Camera, 39, of Fairfield, Maine, Jacob King, 41, of Milton, Benjamin Fields, 41, of Laconia, John Titus, 35, of Farmington, Christian Gerlach, 52, of Manchester, Moses Losuk, 28, of Portland, Maine, Robert Arrington, 38, of Bangor, Maine, Robert Whiteside, Jr., 46, of Exeter, William Wheelock, 34, of Windham, Maine and Alexander Wilson, 38, of Belfast, Maine. Guzman, Wheelock and Arrington remain at large.

Paletta and Boston are charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance.

Under federal law, if convicted, they could each face up to 20 years in prison.
