City man charged with burglary and domestic violence
NASHUA – Danuel Morales, 18, of Nashua, was taken into custody on Dec. 8 in connection with an incident involving his former girlfriend.
According to the Nashua Police Department, Morales used a ladder to enter the victim’s home through a second floor window. Once inside, he allegedly pushed the victim, whose identity has been withheld, and stole items from her bedroom that he had given to her as gifts.
Morales later turned himself into police and was released on cash bail. He was scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua District Court on Dec. 10.
Morales has been charged with burglary, three counts of domestic violence-simple assault and criminal mischief.
Under state law, if convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison, up to five years of probation and up $11,200 in fines.
