NASHUA – Southern New Hampshire Health recently announced that Kenneth Matsis is now serving as chief financial officer and senior vice president of the health system.

His new role began on March 2, with a promotion from vice president of finance. Matsis has expanded oversight of all aspects related to financial performance for Southern New Hampshire Health, which is comprised of Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and Foundation Medical Partners.

“I am thrilled that Ken has stepped up to the role of chief financial officer. He is the absolute right person for many reasons–his business and finance acumen, the trusted partnerships he has built across our health system, and his true passion for the care that our health system provides are outstanding and essential to the work in this position. I offer my sincere congratulations to Ken,” said Southern New Hampshire Health President and CEO Colin McHugh.

Matsis joined Southern New Hampshire Health in 2023 as financial controller after positions in finance leadership with Catholic Medical Center and Concord Hospital, as CFO of Home Health and Hospice Care and as previous director of financial reporting and accounting role with Southern New Hampshire Health from 2013 to 2019.

“I am pleased and honored to be a part of Southern New Hampshire Health,” said Matsis. “As a leader in finance, my goals are always to support and grow the compassionate, exceptional care that our teams provide. I am proud of the tremendous impact that our health system makes on our communities today, and for generations to come, and I look forward to our work in the years ahead.”.

Matsis earned a Master’s degree in business administration and management from Southern New Hampshire University in 2013. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in business management from Keene State College.
