Shine a Light

A swastika on a synagogue is not graffiti

It’s anti-Semitic

Shine a light on it

KKK on a building is not graffiti

It’s racism

Shine a light on it

Immigrant go home on a wall is not graffiti

It’s un-American

Shine a light on it

Discrimination grows in the dark

Shine a light on it.

One street down

One street down

History found

On one street down

Hush and shush

A crowded rush

So they won’t look around

But still they marched

One street down

They were

Beings of fire

Made gold in their own hands

Made, lives in their own brands

Till they were trampled

One street down

One street down and the story hid

Became a whisper held, forbid

Bodies buried

Buildings smashed

Their Wall Street down
