Amanda Wihby, co-owner and chief operations officer of the Red Arrow Diner, has been elected to the New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association’s (NHLRA) Board of Directors. Her term is effective immediately, as announced at the recent NHLRA annual membership meeting.

The NHLRA works to advance the state’s Lodging, Foodservice and Tourism Industry in New Hampshire. Through her affiliation with Red Arrow Diner, Wihby has been a member of the NHLRA for more than a decade. The organization named her the 2017 Stars of the Industry Restaurant Employee of the Year.

“It is truly an honor to serve the NHLRA in my new capacity as a board member,” Wihby says. “The organization’s consistent efforts to promote and protect the small businesses that make up our hospitality industry in New Hampshire – along with education initiatives to attract employees to careers in dining and lodging – lead to an improved quality of life in our communities. I am grateful to have the opportunity to assist in this important work.”

In her role at the Red Arrow Diner, Wihby has successfully increased profitability at all four locations while managing the budgetary, human resources, payroll and marketing aspects of the business.
