Greater Nashua students participate in ‘A Night Without a Dorm’
NEW LONDON – Fifty Colby-Sawyer College students attended a “A Night Without a Dorm” in November in support of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.
The 12-hour event, co-sponsored by Colby-Sawyer’s Sociology Club and the Campus Activities Board, raised awareness about homelessness while collecting donations for the Concord Cold Weather Shelter.
Local participating students included Seryn Courtney, of Nashua; Michael Harte, of Litchfield; and Danielle Kostandin, of Windham.
