College achievements by Greater Nashua students:

COLGATE UNIVERSITY

Danielle Putur, a graduate of Hollis Brookline High School and currently a sophomore at Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y., was recently inducted into the Colgate chapter of Phi Eta Sigma, the national scholastic honorary society that recognizes the outstanding achievement of first-year students.

MIAMI UNIVERSITY

Helen Dalbeck, of Wilton, graduated in December 2013 from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a Master of Arts in zoology from the university’s global field program. Dalbeck works at Amoskeag Fishways Learning and Visitors Center in Manchester.

The global field program, from Miami University’s Project Dragonfly, brings together master’s degree candidates, scientists, educators and community leaders at key conservation sites across the globe for firsthand experience with inquiry-driven education, environmental stewardship and global understanding.

Since joining the master’s program in 2011, Dalbeck has explored conservation and education in Baja, Thailand and Hawaii, while also conducting projects that have made a difference in the Wilton area.

SAINT ANSELM COLLEGE

These local students were inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society at Saint Anselm College in Manchester. All in are in the Class of 2014.

UNIVERSITY OF HARTFORD

Sean Noftle, of Hollis, graduated in December 2013 from the University of Hartford in Connecticut with a Bachelors of Arts in psychology.

WASHBURN UNIVERSITY

Robin Davies, of Merrimack, graduated in December 2013 from Washburn University in Topeka, Kan. Davies received a Bachelor of Health Science in health sciences administration, magna cum laude.
