WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter has nominated 19 New Hampshire students for admission to the United States service academies.

The process includes a written application to the student’s representative or senator and an interview with the nominations board.

Local students nominated are:

U.S. MERCHANT MARINE ACADEMY

Hemenway Coburn, Londonderry High School.

U.S. NAVAL ACADEMY

Justin Mayer, Londonderry High School.

Nicholas Masella, Merrimack High School.
