CONCORD – Beating out large, private and national competitors, the New Hampshire Liquor Commission (NHLC) has been named one of the top-10 retailers in the country for the third year in a row by Beverage Dynamics, the largest and most respected national magazine dedicated to off-premise beverage alcohol retailers. Each year, Beverage Dynamics’s Top 100 Retailer Awards recognizes off-premise retailers, such as liquor stores or supermarket chains, demonstrating innovation, excellent customer service and superior industry knowledge. NHLC, which operates 66 NH Liquor & Wine Outlet locations throughout New Hampshire, was the only control state in the country to be named one of Beverage Dynamics’s top-10 retailers. NHLC was also honored by the readers of the New Hampshire Union Leader and the Lowell Sun for its selection of more than 14,000 wines and spirits.

NHLC, which placed seventh in this year’s Top 100 Retailer Awards, achieved this distinction for a variety of factors, including its expansive selection of wines and spirits, innovative marketing strategies, continued sales success and commitment to the best customer service.

New Hampshire’s statewide paper of record, the New Hampshire Union Leader, also recognized NH Liquor & Wine Outlet locations in its 10th annual Readers’ Choice Awards as having the “best wine selection” in New Hampshire within the “specialty food” category. This is the seventh year in a row NH Liquor & Wine Outlet locations have received this honor from Union Leader readers. The Union Leader Readers’ Choice Awards recognizes people doing good work in the Granite State and featured all winners in a special June issue.

Additionally, the Lowell Sun, a daily newspaper that serves towns in Massachusetts around the Greater Lowell area and beyond, named NH Liquor & Wine Outlet locations the ‘best wine and liquor stores in the area’ in its third annual Reader’s Choice Awards. The Lowell Sun Readers’ Choice Awards recognizes the finest businesses in the area, which were included in a special June issue that highlighted winners across various categories.

All Beverage Dynamics winners were featured in the June/July issue of Beverage Dynamics magazine. The Top 100 Retailer Awards were presented to winners at the sixth-annual Beverage Alcohol Retailers Conference, held on June 15.

To be considered for the Beverage Dynamics Top 100 Retailers Awards, retailers may nominate themselves or be nominated by an industry member, such as a distributor, supplier or industry association. The nominees are judged by the Beverage Dynamics editorial team, and winners are chosen to represent a diverse cross-section of the off-premise industry.
