MERRIMACK – A Hudson man was arrested Monday for allegedly violating a protective order three times in as many weeks.

Merrimack Police arrested Michael Bonenfant, 53, of 432 Fox Hollow Drive, after the alleged victim reported the incidents.

Bonenfant is accused of sending multiple texts from April 16 through Saturday to the protected party, in violation of the order.

The protected party reported that on April 28 Bonenfant followed the person home and waited at the front door, while attempting to have a conversation with the individual.

Finally, on Wednesday, he allegedly appeared within 300 feet of the alleged victim and a child at a sporting event, also in violation of the order. A warrant was issued after a brief investigation, police said.

Bonenfant was arrested and charged with three counts of violation of a protection order. Bail was set at $5,000 personal recognizance, and he was transported to the 9th Circuit Court in Nashua for arraignment.
