Police charge Nashua man in domestic altercation
Man allegedly struck and pushed a female acquaintance
NASHUA – A 43-year-old Nashua man was arraigned Tuesday in Nashua District Court on charges stemming from the alleged assault of a woman with whom he is acquainted, police said.
Francisco Chavez Amador, of 60 Crown St., Apt. 1, is facing five counts of simple assault – physical contact, which are Class A
misdemeanors.
Amador was arrested at his residence, police said, but the alleged assaults occurred at an apartment elsewhere in the city.
The woman who lives there told police that she and Amador argued after he allegedly accused her of flirting with other men, police said.
She accused Amador of pushing her, slapping her twice in the head and punching her twice in the ribs, according to police reports.
Amador allegedly admitted that he pushed her, but denied the other allegations, police said.
As he awaits his next court appearance, Amador is ordered to have no contact with the woman by any means, and stay at least 300 feet away from her, documents state.
