Body found in woods near Baldwin Street

By Jeffrey Hastings - Special to The Telegraph | Apr 23, 2022

NASHUA – Nashua Fire Rescue an AMR Ambulance were dispatched to a report of an unresponsive person found in the woods off Baldwin Street Friday.

Firefighters communicated to AMR that it was a “Code 10” over the radio, which is the code used for a deceased person. AMR was requested to walk into the woods, which is near an overpass over the Veterans Memorial Parkway.

Nashua Police arrived at the scene and Nashua Fire and AMR went into service and cleared the scene.

At 6 p.m., four Nashua Police cruisers remained parked on Baldwin Street. Officers appeared to be a significant distance into the woods and could not be seen from the roadway.

A neighbor who lives in the area on Fairmont Street said the property the police appeared to be on is a plot of land that has been for sale. The wooded area has apparently attracted some homeless individual over the past few months.

No information has been released from Nashua Police or other agencies.
