Investigation into May residential theft leads Nashua police to Valley Street jail

Justin Dutton, age 40, of no fixed address, Nashua
NASHUA — Already in jail on an unrelated case, Nashua resident Justin Dutton, 40, was served with a warrant at that location this week by members of the Nashua police Problem Oriented Policing (POP) Unit in connection with the theft of items valued in excess of $1,500, according to police.
The victims of the alleged theft contacted police on May 21, and accused Dutton, who is known to them, of committing the theft.
Detectives looked into the matter, and issued the warrant for Dutton’s arrest, police said.
Because the value of the items Dutton is accused of stealing is more than $1,500, the theft charge is a Class A felony.
He was scheduled for arraignment Tuesday in Hillsborough County Superior Court South.
