Police investigation underway into post-game brawl at NHS North
NASHUA — Detectives with the police department’s Special Investigations Division are looking into the circumstances surrounding a reported large-scale fight that broke out at Nashua High School North around 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The fight reportedly took place outside the school near the main entrance to the gym, about 20-30 minutes after the end of a Division I boys basketball game between NHS North and Manchester Memorial, which North won, 56-51, for its 13th win in 14 starts.
Police said no arrests had been made as of Wednesday, and it’s not yet known if anyone was injured during the incident.
They said detectives are working to determine if any charges will be filed in connection with the incident. Whether any weapons were involved is also part of the investigation.
