Angela Valentin

Angela Valentin, 83, died Monday, October 25, 2021, at Mass General Hospital, Boston, MA. She was born January 18, 1938, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Pedro Valentin and Buenaventura Cepeda.

Angela completed her GED and graduated from Nursing School to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. She last worked at St Joseph Nursing Home in Chicago, IL, for 17 years. She cared deeply for her work and the people she helped.

Angela’s caring nature led her to enjoy things like volunteering for the Nashua Soup Kitchen, Upper Room, and several other organizations. She also helped as a translator for Bible College. When she wasn’t caring for others, she enjoyed working with her hands. She loved to knit, sew and cook. She also enjoyed listening and dancing to music. Most of all, she loved the outdoors. She liked going for walks around the neighborhood but was content with just being outside and enjoying the weather.

Angela is predeceased by her daughter Francis Ocasio who passed March 10, 2020.

Angela is survived by her five children, Andrea and Angel Rodriguez, Maria Alvarado, Angel and Sonia Alvarado, Rose and Craig Lamerand, and Luciana and Matthew Phillips; grandchildren, Matthew Phillips Jr., Crystal Philips, Damion Haussman, Angel Alvarado, Priscilla Alvarado, Natasha Jimenez, Lala Valez, Nicole Alvarado, Joseph Betanzo, Isaly Hernandez, Pablo Luis Hernandez, Yvette LaCour, Anthony Ocasio, Jose Rodriguez, Eric Rodriguez; great-grandchildren Jessie, AJ, Joshua Jr, Damien, Jaslyn, Melissa, Miah, Liah, Kaiden, Elijah, J.C, Angel, Bianca, Donte, Jonathan, Josiah, Zoelle, Fiona, Christopher, and Angelis.

SERVICES: A visitation will be held Friday, October 29, 2021 from 5-6:30 pm at the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. A funeral service will follow at 6:30 pm.
