Erica Stone Garasky

Erica Stone Garasky, 57, of Merrimack NH, passed away suddenly on January 28, 2022.

Erica was born in Nashua, NH to Phillip Stone (Milford, NH) and Dorothy Paige Brassier (Aiken,SC) on July 18, 1964. Erica was the devoted wife of Darren Garasky for 17 years, and a loving mother to their son Taylor Marshall.

Erica was a 1982 Graduate of Merrimack High School. She was a long time Fabrication Technician at BAE Systems.

Erica was passionate about her horses and dogs gathering much love from them. She and Darren enjoyed adventuring on their motorcycle and snowmobiles. Erica loved hosting pool parties at their home; gathering with her numerous friends and family to play cribbage, listen to great music and share a meal.

She was a great cook, creating unique combinations “a la Erica” that were always a hit with everyone. Erica affectionately shared her culinary skills, but never the recipe, because she never used one. All who were blessed to know her experienced her generosity and spirited loyalty.

In addition to her parents, husband, and son, Erica is survived by her siblings: James Haithwaite (Boscawen, NH), David Stone (Lisa Prince Stone) of Peterborough, Mark Stone (Kelly) of Aiken, SC. and her nieces and nephews Jennifer Hartford, Christopher Haithwaite, Isaac and Isabella Stone. She also leaves her in-laws, Jim and Alice Garasky, and her brothers-in-law Brian Garasky and Don Garasky (Bonnie), and by her beloved horse Ria and her boxer Tucker. Erica was blessed with a large group of lifelong friends whom she cheshired.

Family and friends are invited to join Darren and Taylor at Rivet’s Funeral Home (425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH) on Saturday, February 12 from 1PM to 3PM for calling hours.
