Richard ‘Ricky’ Fenton
Richard “Ricky” Fenton, 31, resident of Nashua, NH, passed away unexpectedly in Fort Myers, FL on February 11, 2022, just shy of his 32nd birthday.
He was born in Nashua, NH on February 20, 1990 to a loving and devoted mother, Theresa M. Fenton. He graduated from Nashua High North, making friends with anyone and everyone he met along the way. As his mother could always tell you, “I couldn’t take him anywhere without running into a friend of his.”
Ricky’s (Stretch’s) love for animals was apparent in his years working at the Nashua Humane Society. He was a deeply caring person with a huge heart, always willing to lend an ear if you needed one.
More recently, his time was spent working for Continental Paving, as well as general contracting work for his cousin at Boucher & Son Remodeling.
Ricky loved skateboarding, movies, drawing, photography, basketball, hiking, stargazing, traveling, sunsets, working on cars, hanging with friends, and generally just having a good time. But, above all, he loved his family.
Ricky is survived by his mother, Theresa, and sister Jenna L. Fenton, both of Nashua; stepfather Patrick M. Fenton of Derry, NH; a half-sister Lianne Kaplan; an uncle Rudolph “Tony” Vissa; aunts Kimberly Vissa and Laura Paquette; cousins Jeromy Boucher, Jennifer Boucher, Jessica Vissa, and Anthony Vissa; and last, but certainly not least, his beloved cat, Macy.
There will be no visiting hours or graveside service. A celebration of life will be planned for some time in the Summer. We will keep family and friends informed as plans develop.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the Nashua Humane Society, in accordance with his recent birthday wishes (https://www.hsfn.org/donate-now). Please remember – Adopt, don’t shop!
