George took his last blast on his Harley heading to his final destination, God’s country.
George, 68 was born the son of the late Wilfred V. Cote and Pauline (Lefebvre) Cote of Nashua, NH. He passed away suddenly after a period of declining health. George made his home with his son Josh Cote of Wilton, N.H.
George attended Nashua High School and spent a lot of his time practicing playing the trumpet. He belonged to the Spartan Drum and Bugle Core traveling to many states for competition. He loved music, especially listening to the oldies. He also found time to pull some capers with his cousin who was his sidekick for many years.
George married Cecile Niquette at a very young age and together they had three wonderful sons. Jason Cote of Peter borough, NH, Jeremy Cote of Peterborough, NH and Josh Cote of Wilton, NH. He is also survived by a son Spencer Cote of Georgia, stepson, Shawn Stetson of Milford and a sister Nancy Asselin of Nashua NH and her two children Michael Asselin, (wife Megan) of MA and Katie Asselin of NH. His two granddaughters Gabby Cote and Tori Keenan of Peterborough, NH.
He was predeceased by his mother and father, brother Kevin Cote and brother-in-law Jerry Asselin.
George worked for Hendrix Wire and Cable for 15 years. After leaving Hendrix, he worked for the town of Milford for a couple of years. He decided to relocate to Florida and ended up building a house there and stayed in Florida for about 15 years before returning to Milford.
He was also a member of Milford and Co Motorcycle Club and was an avid rider.
George, with his humor and wit had many close friends. He is also survived by many cousins.
There are no services. George was cremated and interment will be in the spring with his mom, dad and brother at Edgewood Cemetery in Nashua, NH.
