Richard Albert Ouellette

Richard Albert Ouellette, 75 of Jaffrey NH, died after a brief illness on February 8, 2022. He was born in Nashua NH on August 16, 1946, to his late Parents J. Albert and Claire (Baker) Ouellette. He grew up in Nashua attended Nashua High, and went on to the Wentworth Institute in Boston, MA.
He proudly served as a Specialist in the Army as a satellite communications systems operator during the Vietnam War, until his honorable discharge in 1970. For his service he was awarded the Vietnam service medal, medal of good conduct and National defense medal.
Richard loved nature, and enjoyed time outdoors. He was an avid musician who played guitar, harmonica, and several other small instruments. Richard loved to sing, and enjoyed writing and performing his own music, as well as favorites from other artists. A man of many talents, he enjoyed wood and leather working, windsurfing in his younger days, and could never pass up a good roller-coaster ride. He had a great love for his family, and enjoyed spending time with loved ones, this often included gathering around the guitar to sing or sharing about one of his favorite movies.
Richard is survived by his children Michelle and husband Ronald of Peterborough, Michael and wife Melanie Vincent of Nashua, Jonathan Vincent of Jaffrey, Christopher Miles of Jaffrey, Jennifer and her husband Robert Lacroix of Peterborough, his beloved grandchildren, his sisters Janis and her husband Robert Stringer of Belmont, Patricia Belanger of Nashua, Kathleen and her husband Raymond of Nashua, and many cherished Nieces and Nephews.
A private family burial will take place at the NH State Veterans cemetery in Boscawen at a future date.
