Garry M. Godfrey
GREENBUSH — Garry M. Godfrey, 37, died April 17, 2022 at his residence, surrounded by his sons and family members, following a long and courageous battle with Alports Syndrome. Garry was born August 27, 1984 in Bangor a son of Lisa (Ketch) Dillen and Michael Godfrey.
Garry lived for his son’s Paul and Brenton. They were more than father and sons, they were best friends; the three musketeers. Garry loved to play NBA on the Xbox with Paul and games on the phone with Brenton. He enjoyed stock-car racing and loved his Seattle Seahawks.
In addition to his sons Paul and Brenton; he is survived by his mother and step-father Lisa and David Dillen of Greenbush; father and step mother Michael and LoriAnn Godfrey of OH; four brothers Sean Paul, Stephen, Alex and Justin all of OH and sister Crystal of MA; two nephews David and Cody, two nieces Brianna and Lilly; “Grandburger” Wanita Ketch and grandmother Janet Godfrey; best friend Jarred Worley, his special Nannie he talked to all the time Sandra Olson, and lastly his true love Erica Robinson; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brothers Mark and Michael Godfrey; uncles Mark Ketch and Timothy Ketch, grandfathers Clarence Ketch, Martin Godfrey, and David Dillen; grandmother Nana Mary Dillen
Visitation will be 4-8PM Wednesday April 20, 2022 with a time of story sharing to begin at 7PM. The 7PM stories will be livestreamed on the Birmingham Funeral Home Facebook page. Graveside services will be Monday April 25, 2022 held at Edgewood Cemetery Nashua, NH where Garry will be interred next to his brothers Michael and Mark and some of his ashes will be buried at Gould’s Ridge Cemetery, Passadumkeag at a later date.
