Laurie K. (Whittemore) Zibolis, 68 years old, died on May 1, 2022, in Merrimack, NH, surrounded by loved ones.

Laurie was born in Nashua, NH on April 21, 1954, to Chet and Georgianna Whittemore.

She met her high school sweetheart Michael W. Zibolis while attending Nashua High. They were married on August 17, 1974. Laurie was a proud member of the swim team and was known for her infectious personality along with her love of animals, especially horses.

Laurie worked as an EMT Intermediate at Rockingham Ambulance for ten years where she could use her compassion, empathy, and boundless energy to help others. Working for Rockingham left her with some of her proudest accomplishments and fondest memories.

Laurie’s love of nature gravitated her to the outdoors where she would enjoy the view, whether it be at York Beach with her brothers and sisters, Lake Winnipesaukee with her family, or walking along the Merrimack River. Laurie was also passionate about music and enjoyed listening to Classic Rock, especially The Beatles. She was happiest when alongside her friends, family, her dog Skippy, and her five beautiful grandchildren.

Laurie will be missed greatly, but we will feel her presence when we step outside and feel the warmth of the sun on our faces.
