Marjorie A. (Ricker)(Pelletier) Benjamin
Marjorie A. (Ricker)(Pelletier) Benjamin, age 97, of Nashua, passed away at the Bedford Hills Center on May 26, 2022. She was the widow of Roland Benjamin who passed away in 1998.
She was born in Manchester, NH on June 14, 1924, daughter of the late Harry & Mary (Mora) Ricker. She Graduated from Central High School in Manchester.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as an instructor at J.F. McElwain Shoe Co for many years.
Marjorie enjoyed walking, reading, and crocheting. She was a long-time volunteer at Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua, receiving a 25-Year Service Award in 2014.
She is survived by her children, Sandra Smith Francioso, (deceased) and Audrey Skeen and her husband, Timothy of VA; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many dear friends.
She was a loving, kind and caring Mom and Nana. She loved her family and was always the beautiful matriarch of our family. Her energy and full of life focus earned her the nickname, “Energizer Bunny”. Her children and grandchildren learned about life from her loving example. She was known for her “Famous Whoopie Pies”, always a favorite at family gatherings.
Marjorie had an amazing work ethic, she was courageous, strong and had moxie. She was a dedicated Mom, Nana, and friend. She loved meeting people and helping when needed. Her love will continue to guide us and watch over us. We Love You!
SERVICES: Relatives & friends are invited to her Visitation at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064 on Wednesday June 1, 2022 from 12 Noon until 1:00 PM. A prayer service will take place in the funeral home at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow at Last Rest Cemetery in Merrimack.
