Bruce H. Elliott

Bruce H. Elliott, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 3, 2022 in Lebanon, NH. For 36 years, he was the beloved husband of Debra M. (Meaney) Elliott.

He was born in Schenectady, NY on March 1, 1955, a son of the late Edsall and Lillian (Heimgartner) Elliott. Bruce grew up in New Jersey and attended Plymouth State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree. He was a resident of Hollis, NH for the past 3 ½ years and was formerly of Amherst, NH for 24 years where he and Debra raised their family. He was the biggest sideline fan of watching his daughters play sports and coached them through soccer, basketball and life.

Bruce was employed as a Regional Sales Manager with DSI in Acton for 35 years. He enjoyed playing golf and competed in many tournaments with his co-workers and friends from DSI throughout the years. He also enjoyed time spent with his family and friends in Amherst where he was a member of a golf and ski team and Jasper Valley Swim & Tennis Club where he socialized, swam, and played tennis. Bruce was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed kayaking, hiking and biking with his family and shell fishing on Cape Cod. He loved to explore food and adventure throughout New England and was the most friendly, social and kind person you’d ever meet.

Besides his wife Debra, he is survived by his two daughters, Rachel Zahr and her husband John of Bedford, NH and Kristin Elliott and her fiancé Kyle Dolan of Dover, NH; his granddaughter, Lillian Zahr; his brother, Mark Elliott of Stroudsburg, PA; his father and mother-in-law, Richard and Irene Meaney of Chelmsford; his grandpup, Larry; also many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Arrangements – Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bruce’s life at the M. R. Laurin & Son Funeral Home, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell, MA on Monday, July 11 from 4 to 7pm. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 777 W. Hollis St., Nashua, NH. Family and friends are asked to please meet at the church. Interment to follow at St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to www.beaverbrook.org, which is a beautiful environmental conservation center with extensive trails and numerous educational programs for children and adults that Bruce loved to frequent as part of his outdoor adventures.
