Juliette M. Thibodeau
Juliette M. Thibodeau, 101, a lifelong resident of Nashua, died peacefully at her home on Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Wallace J. Thibodeau, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage before his passing in Sept. 1985.
Juliette was born in Nashua on March 14, 1921, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helena Labrie. She received her education in the Nashua School System.
Early in her career, she was employed as a cosmetic clerk for the former Economy Drugstore for 19 years. Following her employment at the store, she then worked as a receptionist for Smith, Weiss, Shepard and Zall Law Firm in Nashua until her retirement at age 80.
In her younger years, Juliette enjoyed candlepin bowling and played tennis. She also loved to square dance and had a beautiful talent for playing the violin, and she never missed an opportunity to shop for clothing for any family member. However, her most cherished time was spent with her family.
Juliette is survived by her three children, Daniel Thibodeau and his wife, Celestina, of Sebastian, Florida, Jane Thibodeau and her husband, Michael LeBlanc, of Nashua and Marc Thibodeau of Wareham, Massachusetts; her four grandchildren, Stephen Thibodeau, Lisa Levesque and her husband, Michael, Cyrena Thibodeau, and Pierre Thibodeau; her great-grandchildren, Ashley and Jaden Thibodeau; as well as her great-great grandchildren, Braden and Lillie Mae. She also is survived by her four nieces and nephews, Thomas Labrie of Washington state, Richard Labrie of Texas, Patricia Robinson of North Carolina and Nancy Labrie of North Carolina.
She was predeceased by her seven siblings, Jeanne Labrie, Arthur Labrie, Andre Labrie, Rita Labrie, Maurice Labrie and two infant siblings.
Relatives and friends are invited to Juliette’s visitation on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2022, at 10 a.m. in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W. Hollis St., Nashua. Interment to follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
