Mona Lisa Radford

Aug 27, 2022

Mona Lisa Radford, 82 of Nashua, passed away while surrounded by her family on Sunday Aug. 21, 2022. Born on Aug. 23, 1939, in the mountains of North Carolina as one of seven children, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ola Verna (Weatherman) Robinson.

Growing up in North Carolina, farm life was nurturing and heartwarming to Mona. She earned her associate’s degree from the Nashua Business College, and went on to serve as executive assistant to the president of Saint Joseph Hospital and office administrator at Harmony Real Estate.

Mona’s greatest passion was teaching Sunday school for more than 50 years, leading ladies Bible studies, serving at Christian Women’s Club, where she grew from an entry position to president, facilitator for Senior Saints at MVBC and teaching vacation Bible school. Her love for God was unmistakable.

She enjoyed playing and winning at any and all games, and spending time with her greatest love, her family. As a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mona always put family first. A friend to all, Mona never met a stranger.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert, four children, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three sisters and many nieces and nephews. Mona was predeceased by her parents, a sister and two brothers.

Donations may be made in memory of Mona to the Southern NH Rescue Mission c/o Merrimack Valley Baptist Church.

A service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2022, at Merrimack Valley Baptist Church, located at 517 Boston Post Road, Merrimack.
