Susan Marie Sylvia

Susan Marie Sylvia, 73, of Merrimack passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2022, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a period of declining health.

She was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on July 25, 1949, to the late Stanley William and Alice Veronica (Arsenault) Haney. She was raised in Burlington, Massachusetts, and graduated from Burlington High School.

Before retirement, Susan worked in the customer service department for Delta Education for many years.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Frank C. Sylvia, on Oct. 17, 2021, along with three siblings, Stanley “Bill” Haney, Bernie Haney and Barbara Foster.

She will be forever loved and remembered by her two sons, Eddie and Jason Rainville; stepdaughter, Kim and her husband Manuel Miranda; 10 grandchildren, Gregory, Ava, Ethan, Josh, Brandon, Taylor, Carrie, Brooke, Justin and Jordan; four great-grandchildren, Gage, Maverick, Myla and Ayla; three siblings, Jimmy Haney, Millie Phillips and Linda Rainville, along with several nieces and nephews.

There are no services to be held at this time.
