Joseph A. Mattise

Joseph A. Mattise of Richmond, Virginia, passed away Sept. 2, 2022, at the age of 66 after a short illness. Joe’s family of brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews will miss his humor and commitment to family. Joe enjoyed sports of every variety, and was an avid reader and loved playing bridge. Joe was born and raised in Northeast Pennsylvania. He graduated from Lakeland High School, Bloomsbury University and Hamlin Law School, Minnesota. Joe worked in the law/finance industry in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Nashua, New Hampshire, and Richmond. He was an active member of the Catholic churches in those communities. Joe will be interred on Oct. 13, 2022, following a Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Madison Ave., Jermyn, Pennsylvania.
