Timothy Michael ‘Tim’ Demers and Elizabeth Ann ‘Beth’ (Hammar) Demers

Nov 19, 2022

Proud Veteran of U.S Army, local business owner;

Timothy “Tim” Michael Demers of Hudson N.H, passed away unexpectedly on Friday October 7th, 2022, as the result of a tragic fall at his Hudson N.H home while spending time with his sons, only days after the unexpected passing of his loving wife Elizabeth Ann “Beth” (Hammar) Demers on October 1, 2022, from a seizure while together at their home in Hudson.

Born in Manchester N.H on October 25, 1968, the son of the late Joanne M. (Deshaies) Demers, and the late Richard R. Demers, he graduated from Central High School in Manchester, NH in 1987 and went on to graduate with his Master’s in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

Drawn to serving his country, Tim enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served as a combat medic in Desert Storm, first in the Army Reserve but then transitioned to active duty. He was stationed in Germany from 1988 through 1992, then bravely went on to fight in the First Armored Division during operation Desert Storm.

Tim worked in the health care field all his life. Always caring for patients directly, and later in life, by supplying medical equipment to disabled Veterans in need.

He began his own business, Elite Medical Systems LLC. in 2020 and was enjoying this new chapter in his professional life

Tim’s greatest accomplishments though, were his family. He loved his wife Elizabeth dearly for over 25 years and was the very proud father to their two sons Gavin and Alex Demers, He has taken them on countless family vacations, encouraged and supported all their interests and passions, and was beyond proud to be their father, and Beth’s husband. He would often marvel at how lucky he was to be blessed with his beautiful wife and amazing children. They shared a love of Metal, Concerts, Horror, Movies and Cars.

He will be remembered for his boundless energy, unique humor, and compassion. While traveling through the years for work, Tim has acquired many special friendships. He was always willing to lend his time and energy and give support. His military service is a testament to his character and passion for helping others, as many of his fellow service men and women have attested to. In a fitting final gesture, Tim saved the lives of 2 men, by way of organ donation after his passing

He will be missed by so many.

Besides by his sons, he is survived by his sister, Patricia Demers of Hudson N.H, sisters in law; Kelly P. Hammar of Wilton, Julie Hammar of Hudson, Kristen Milosh of Litchfield, and Mary Hammar of Pelham. Brother in-law, Steven Hammar of Nashua N.H, and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncle.

Family and friends already celebrated Beth and Tim’s Life Celebration Service on Sunday November 13, 2022. Arrangements by the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME – PELHAM. E-condolences and obituaries at www.pelhamfuneralhome.

Beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend

Elizabeth Ann “Beth” (Hammar) Demers, age 46, passed away at her Hudson N.H home on Saturday Oct 1st, as the result of a seizure. Her husband Timothy Demers was at her side.

Sadly, Beth’s husband Timothy Demers of Hudson N.H later passed away on Friday October 7th, as a result of a tragic accidental fall, just days later. (Please look to the Pelham Funeral Home website for a link to his obituary).

Born on October 22nd, 1976, in Nashua N.H to parents; Cynthia Peters Milosh and Michael F. Hammar, she was raised in Hudson and Pelham NH, and graduated from Alvirne High School in 1994.

Beth went on to work for Gerber Dental Group of Hooksett for nearly 25 years. She made an impact on all who met her, with a warm smile, sassy greeting and caring nature.

Her pride and joy were her sons, Gavin and Alex. There to support their interests and cheer them on. Easy to talk to, confide in and have fun with. Their house was filled with music, laughter, love (and a symphony of dog barks). She enjoyed family vacations, exercise, a good manicure and concerts.

Beth was ever-present in the lives of her parents, siblings, nieces, nephews and friends. The rock of the family! Never too busy to be there for the important things. She would also be the 1st person to give you a kick in the right direction when needed, with a firm tone and a kind heart. She made time for the ones she loved, and it was time well spent.

Another passion was helping animals, especially dogs. Beth saved many dogs through the years, as a volunteer for the Pelham Animal Rescue. She worked as a Foster Mom (with ‘foster-fails’ along the way) and donated her time at the shelter. She made trips down south, transporting dogs, in hopes of finding their forever home. Helping those in need, people and 4-legged friends alike, came naturally to her.

Beth has left this world much better than she found it. Her impact will continue to be felt by others, forever more. She’ll be remembered for her beauty, inside and out. For her bold red lipstick that matched her personality, and her eternal optimism in the face of any obstacles.

Besides her sons, she is survived by her Father Michael Hammar and his wife Cilene of Pelham NH. Her Mother, Cynthia Milosh and husband Richard of Litchfield NH. Siblings; Kelly P Hammar of Wilton, Julie Hammar of Hudson, Kristen Milosh of Litchfield, Steven Hammar of Nashua, and Mary Hammar of Pelham. Sister-in-Law Patricia Demers of Hudson N.H and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Beth was predeceased by her nephew Lyric Michaud whom she loved like another son, and her beloved dogs that she will be able to meet on the Rainbow Bridge.
