Our mother, Felicia Sullivan, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 after a short but courageous battle with cancer that she fought vigorously and with the energy of a brave warrior.
She was very loved, will be missed terribly, and always hold a place in our hearts.
Born November 26, 1964 to Harry and Sandra Gallien, Felicia, to all who knew her, was a unique and caring individual who touched their lives in a profound way.
She is survived by her life partner, Ray Melendez-Oquendo, and raised four loving children. She was dedicated to her children in all aspects of their lives. Felicia was the Cat Lady, she always had love for every cat she encountered and if they didn’t have a home, she gave them one. Felicia had a love for skiing and would pick up her poles and be on the slopes within a moments notice. Felicia devoted her entire life to her children and continues to influence their lives.
She was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, New Hampshire. She lived with her life partner and worked in the soldering field as a supervisor.
She also bid farewell to her extended family – the Melendez-Oquendo family, forever missed and always in their hearts.
Her most cherished title was ‘Nana’ and loved by her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mom, Sandra Gallien.
She is survived by her children, Katie Sullivan, John Sullivan, Alisha Medellin and Gerardo Reyes; her father Harry Gallien; her brothers Peter Gallien, Richard Gallien, and a sister Vickie Chalfoun. Felicia has several grandchildren and one “big younger brother” Ron Couturier.
A private gathering will be held for close family and friends. Please in lieu of flowers please make donations to The Humane Society for Greater Nashua at http://www.hsfn.org/tributegifts.
