Michele Ann (Gacicia Abitabile) (Dufour) Pelletier, 79, of Merrimack, NH, passed away on February 3, 2023, at Community Hospice House after a brief illness. She was born April 11, 1943, in Weymouth, MA to the late Anthony and the late Mary (Rose) Gacicia. Michele was married to Ernest Pelletier, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage.

At age 14, Michele moved to Baboosic Lake in Amherst with her family where she went on to graduate from the Academy of Notre Dame, Tyngsborough, MA, in 1961. Upon graduation, she worked as an executive secretary at Great American Plastics, and she finished her career with 24 years at PSNH.

Michele will be remembered for her huge heart, generosity, warmth, hospitality, and was considered a second mother by many. She loved spoiling her pets. She enjoyed cooking, decorating for all the holidays, especially Christmas, where her house was always a winter wonderland. Michele’s real gift was freely expressing her love for family and friends that she cherished.

Michele was also predeceased by her sister Patricia Delaney in 2020 and her beloved stepfather, Domenic Abitabile, in 2008.

Michele is survived by her husband, Ernest Pelletier, Merrimack; her daughter and son-on-law, Nicole Dufour and David Helie, and their family, Merrimack; her son, Anthony Dufour and his family, Tampa, FL; her sister and brother-in-law, Rosemary and Nestor Rodriguez, NY; her brother-in-law Ronald Delaney, Berwick, ME; her nephew and his wife, Brian and Debbie Delaney, Berwick, ME.
