Gerald (Jerry) H. Michaud

Mar 14, 2023

Gerald (Jerry) H. Michaud, 76, died peacefully on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the Community Hospice House In Merrimack surrounded by his loving family. He is the beloved husband of Tina (Christina Levesque) with whom he shared 22 years of marriage.

Jerry was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on July 13, 1946 and was the son of the late George and Florence (Cardin) Michaud. He received his education in the Nashua School System.

In his early years, he worked at Bronze Craft, followed by many years at Alvirne High School as the head custodian, where he was loved by faculty and students until his retirement. Jerry had the yearbook dedicated to him three times and is now referred to as a “legend” by many former students. He also worked for the River Pines Community as a grounds keeper, and is famous for riding his green tractor while wearing his straw hat.

In his free time, Jerry loved to BBQ and host parties, welcoming all friends, family and neighbors with whom he enjoyed all the activities at the River Pines club house. He enjoyed working outside and tending to his lawn, waiting for spring every year to put his geese out in his yard. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family, who he loved endlessly.

In addition to his wife, Tina, he is survived by his son Jason Michaud and his wife Heather of Dallas, Texas; his step sons, Michael Cater and his significant other Ashleigh Martin and her son Grayson of Nashua and Robert Leighton of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Ryan Michaud and his wife Lexie, Justin Michaud and his wife Kati, and Nicholas Michaud; his four brothers, Roland (Nonny) Michaud and his wife Marion of Hudson, Roger (Billy) Michaud of Palm Bay, Florida, Royal Michaud of Palm Bay, Florida, and Russell Michaud and his wife Melanie of Hudson; and his sister Estelle Murray and her husband James of Phoneix, Arizona.

Jerry was sadly predeceased by his beloved cat, Buddy.
