Peter Elwin Gibbs Jr.

Peter Elwin Gibbs Jr., 58, of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away on October 3, 2023. Peter was born on July 25, 1965, in Exeter, NH, to the late Bertina and Peter Gibbs Sr.

Peter was a genuine and caring man who deeply loved his family and adored his grandchildren. His infectious laugh and smile could light up any room, and his sense of humor was truly contagious. He had a wealth of knowledge about the world and religion, and his grandchildren often turned to him for answers because “Papa knew everything.”

Peter is survived by his former wife of 24 years and the mother of his children Cheryl Gibbs. His daughters, Kristina Bradford and her husband Thomas, Madeline Gibbs, and Asasha Glover and her husband Chris. He is also survived by his brother Stephen Gibbs and his wife Cheryl, sisters Kathleen Bussiere, Donna George, Karen Roth, Michelle Shattuck and her husband Brad, and Rose Geehan and her husband Jimmy. Peter will be fondly remembered by his grandsons Bentley Duclos, Quincy Gibbs, Royce Gibbs, and Elvis Bradford, and his granddaughters Daliyah Duclos, Ketsiyah Glover, Azalea Bradford, and Serenity Glover. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Peter was preceded in death by his daughter Ruth Goodwin and sister Diane Riel.

A celebration of Peter’s life will be held on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, at 6pm at the American Legion, located at 11 Court Street in Nashua, NH.
