Nicholas “Nicky” Soukaras Jr., 42, died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, December 30, 2023.

Nick was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on March 10, 1981, and is the beloved son of Nicholas Sr. and Catherine (Kosik) Soukaras. He attended schools in the Nashua School System.

Most recently he was employed as a carpenter for construction companies however he previously worked as a DJ, painter, and a mover.

In his free time, he enjoyed art and music. He was a talented painter, guitar player, and DJ. He was a member of a garage band with his friends, playing heavy metal music, Nick at Nite. In his younger years, he proudly served as an alter boy at St. Rita’s Church in Lowell, Ma. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family who he loved.

In addition to his parents, Nick and Catherine, he is survived by his sister, Christine Lee Soukaras and her partner Stephen Gorham of Clinton, MA, his niece, Athena Marie Soukaras; his maternal grandmother, Helen Kosik of Lowell, MA; his aunts and uncles, Patricia McKay and her husband Jim of Methuen, MA, Stanley W. Kosik Jr. of Lowell and Carol Lavoie of Nashua, Steve Soukaras and his wife Robin of Methuen, MA, and Stella Soukaras of Methuen, MA; as well as many cousins and dear friends.

Nicky was predeceased by his uncle David Lavoie, his paternal grandparents, Peter and Eileen Soukaras, and his maternal grandfather, Stanley W. Kosik Sr.

At the request of Nick’s family, all services were held privately. Interment to take place at the convenience of his family. Arrangements entrusted to the care of ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.
