Ethel A. Brianas-Richer

Ethel A. Brianas-Richer, 83, of Nashua, passed away peacefully on Monday July 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack. She was born October 28, 1940, in Kingston, New York. Ethel was the widow of Stephen Richer, who predeceased her in 2022.

Growing up, Ethel received her education in the Nashua School District graduating from Nashua High School. She was employed at the Weathervane restaurant where she was known as the “singing waitress”.

Ethel was one of the most selfless people around and was very well known for her kindness to all. She loved people, meeting new people, and would start up a conversation with anyone she could, and was well liked and adored by all. Ethel also enjoyed singing and was a part of the Nashua Symphony and played the French horn in high school. She cherished her trips to the beach, as she liked the ocean, as well as trips to Maine. Above all, Ethel loved to spend time with her family, especially her children the most.

Ethel is survived by her six children; Penny Brianas of Litchfield, Christina Savard and her husband David of Hooksett, Demetrious Brianas and his wife Wendy of Virginia, Constantine Brianas and his wife Amy of North Carolina, William Brianas and his wife Sharon of Wilmington, MA, and Maria Brianas of Nashua; her 13 grandchildren; her four siblings Linda, Stephen, Mary and Chuck; her former husband William Brianas of Litchfield; as well as many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Along the way, Ethel provided a home and become a Mom to many others.

In addition to her husband Stephen, Ethel was predeceased by her sister Suzie.

Family and friends are invited to Ethel’s visitation on MONDAY, August 5th from 5 until 8 pm at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.
