Christopher John Sousa

Christopher John Sousa, age 69, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at The Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. He was born on Christmas Day in 1954, the son of the late Andrew and Effthema (Polites) Sousa. Chris was an amazing man. He was first and foremost about family. He cared deeply for everyone in his life and took every opportunity to let them know they were special and loved. He was the Rock of the family and readily available with words of encouragement, life lessons, and assurances that all are worthy of love and respect. His Mantra was always: LOVE FIRST There was a very special place in his heart for his 4-year-old great granddaughter Ella and his trusty dog Chance. Both brought him such joy and comfort for their unconditional love and innocence. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. Chris is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Mary (Vaskelionis) Sousa and his children Tara Watts, Mark Sousa and Amy Perkins and her husband Fred, all of Nashua and Diana Mondor and her husband Brian of East Longmeadow, MA; Grandchildren, Marcus Watts of Nashua, Dylan Watts of Florida, and Brianna and Troy Mondor or East Longmeadow, MA and of course his sweetest Great Grandchild Ella Watts of Nashua. Chris also leaves behind his brothers Andrew (Marsh) Sousa and Steve Morris both of Billerica, MA and Arthur (Chip) Sousa of Nashua.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
