Kenneth Robert Santerre

Nov 13, 2024

Kenneth Robert Santerre, 72, of Milford, New Hampshire passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Southern NH Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 14, 1952, in Nashua, New Hampshire, a son of the late Robert U. Santerre.

Kenneth was the husband of Helen (Shea) Santerre whom he married on August 30, 1980, at Alvirne Chapel in Hudson, New Hampshire and shared 44 years of marriage.

Kenneth had been employed as a pharmacy tech for Rice’s Pharmacy for many years. He had previously worked for the Nashua Telegraph and in construction for many years. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, camping, sports cards, and owned the former Ken’s Sports Card store on Canal Street in Nashua. His love for sports led him to coach baseball and instill a winning mentality along with other core life values in the next generation. He was an avid concert goer and loved his music. You could find him wearing his Tie-dye shirt, singing along and dancing to every tune.

In his later years, ‘Kenny’ loved taking his grandchildren on tractor rides, watching sports together, and always being surrounded by friends and family at a house he built together with his two sons. His passion for fishing created lifelong bonds with friends and his oldest son Jim Bob. His love for music spilled over to his youngest son Jake, which always allowed for easy conversation.

In addition to his father, Robert; Kenneth was predeceased by a sister, Pamela Sloope.

Survivors include his loving wife, Helen M. Santerre of Milford; his sons, Jim Bob Santerre and his wife Eileen of Nashua, and Jake Santerre and his wife Kerry of Hollis; his grandchildren, Jackson, Bentley, Sloane and Kennedy; his brothers, Jeffrey Santerre, Christopher Santerre, and his sister, Vickie Santerre.
