Dominic S. Russo
Dominic S. Russo, age 85, a resident of Hudson, NH (formerly of Lynnfield, MA) passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Diane J. (Moran) Russo, with whom he shared over 61 wonderful years of marriage.
He was born on December 13, 1938 in Boston, a son of the late Stanley and Pasqualena “Lena” (Cucchiara) Russo. He was educated in the Medford, MA school system and was a graduate of Medford High School, class of 1956. He also earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Master’s degree in Education, and CAGS from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
Dominic was a proud veteran having served in the U.S. Air force from 1956 until his honorable discharge in 1960. Following his time in the service, he was employed as a math and electronics teacher at Somerville Technical High School for many years and later worked in both high tech and sales.
Dominic was proud of his family and cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also had a passion for golf his entire life. As an avid player, Dominic was proud to say that he had seven holes in one.
Surviving him, in addition to his loving wife Diane, are a daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Paul Pawlowski; a son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Amanda (Eagan) Russo; his grandchildren, Edward and Laura, Justin, and John Pawlowski, Isabella and Ava Russo; his best friend and brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Sharon Russo; a sister-in-law, Donna Frampton; and nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He was also the brother of the late Vito Russo and brother-in-law of the late Charles Frampton.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather, share stories and celebrate Dominic’s life on Saturday, Dec. 21, from 1 to 4 PM at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Drive., Tyngsborough. Burial will be held privately at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
