Maria Dolores Caruso

Maria Dolores Caruso (née Cabrera), 77, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH. She was born on April 26, 1948, in Havana, Cuba, the daughter of the late Miquel Angel Cabrera and Olga Ortiz Torrente.

Maria attended elementary school at the American Dominican Academy in Havana before immigrating to the United States in 1962. She continued her education in the Boston area, earning a degree in mathematics from Northeastern University in 1972. Maria was a dedicated real estate agent in Nashua, where she worked for over 35 years, beginning in 1986.

Maria’s life was marked by her intensity, her intelligence, and her commitment to her family and community. She will be remembered for her work ethic and the love she shared with those around her.

Survivors include her son Kenneth Caruso II and her daughter Michelle Caruso-Cabrera, both of whom she raised with her former husband the late Kenneth Caruso I; her daughter-in-law, Moriah Caruso; her son-in-law Stephen Dizard; her brother, Richard Cabrera and sister-in-law, Michelle Cabrera; and her grandson, Owen Caruso.

SERVICES: Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 1 – 5 pm at the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock Street, Nashua, NH.
