Michael David Jakubowski
Michael David Jakubowski, 77, of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully at home on November 24, 2024, after a short illness.
Born in Van Nuys, California, Michael graduated from Notre Dame High School before joining the United States Air Force. During his service, he earned a degree in computer science and later pursued a bachelor’s degree in computer programming. His career in the business world was marked by dedication and skill, but it was in retirement that Michael found his true passions.
Michael took great joy in working at various golf courses and was proud to hold his dream job at the Nashua Country Club at the time of his passing. A talented craftsman, he built birdhouses, including the bluebird houses that now adorn the golf course–a lasting testament to his creativity and love of nature.
An avid tennis player and golfer, Michael also enjoyed a good game of cribbage. He cherished early morning walks with his beloved dog at Mine Falls Park, moments that will be deeply missed by his loyal companion.
Michael is survived by his wife, Joyce Jakubowski; his stepson, Trevor Findley of Portland, Oregon; his sister Christina and her husband Dan Mayer of Queen Creek, Arizona; his brother Joseph and wife Kathy Jakubowski of Columbia, Tennessee; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Michael’s wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him and serve as a reminder of a life well-lived and deeply loved.
