In the early morning hours of December 21, 2024, The Lord welcomed Daniel W. Jordan Jr (88) of Nashua, NH home. Dan (also known as Pierre to his wife Peggy and Dad to his three children) was born in Fitchburg, MA on March 15, 1936, the youngest of three children born to Lillian (Weschler) and Phillip Clement. His birth name was Phillip Joseph Clement Jr or PJ for short. Dan lost his mother at the age of 18 months and as the youngest child was adopted and raised lovingly by his adopted mother and father Gertrude and Daniel Jordan. He was fascinated with the Army and was a member of the ROTC at Classical High School in Springfield, MA. He graduated from UMASS Amherst class of 1958 and joined the Army as a Commissioned Officer. He served with the 56th Air Defense Artillery Brigade and was stationed in Germany between 1958-1960, He was heavily involved with Air logistics for the East Coast during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He retired as a Captain and continued to serve in the MA Army Reserves until 1969. He worked for Travelers Insurance Company for many years. He was an aficionado of anything Civil War and World War II related. He loved reading books, especially by Tom Clancy. He especially loved meeting with his friends at Roland’s Restaurant in Nashua as well as Dunkin Donuts on Broad St. His favorite joke was to add a year to his age to every year he was married to Peggy so he would tell you he was 150 yrs old. Daniel did not know a stranger. He loved to talk, and he loved to sing. He loved his Lord God.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Mary Margaret (Cyr), His 3 children and spouses: Deidre (Jordan) and Mack Reynolds, Daniel W.
