Claire J. (Marquis) Warrington

Claire J. (Marquis) Warrington, 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul W. Warrington with whom she shared 60 years of marriage prior to his passing on October 13, 2015.

Claire was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on February 17, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Romeo J. and Jeannette (Levesque) Marquis. She attended schools in the Nashua School System and was a graduate of St. Aloysius of Gonzaga High School.

For many years, she was employed in production control at Sheldahl until her retirement.

In her free time, Claire was an avid Bingo player and a true Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family who she loved deeply.

Claire is survived by her two sons, William Warrington and his wife Susan of Nashua and James Warrington of Nashua; her grandchildren, Tiffany Holmes and her spouse Megan of Nashua, Christine Decampo and her spouse Nicole of Chelmsford, MA, Ray Paul Jr. of Manchester and Kendra Paul of Auburn, ME. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Mason and Lincoln Decampo and Cooper and Jaydan Holmes; her sister Pauline Marquis of Nashua; her sister-in-law, Claudette Warrington of MD; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Claire was predeceased by her sister, Lareine Marquis.

Services for Claire were held privately. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Rochette Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.
